Staffroom food box raises money for Julia’s House

Staff based out of our Head Office in Sherborne have swapped the monthly food box for an in-house collection, with the aim to raise some extra pennies for Julia’s House.

Supporting the Dorset based charity for over 10 years and raising over £10,000 to date, this is our latest fundraising initiative for the local cause.

Rather than receiving a weekly box filled with staff snacks from a third-party organisation, staff are invited to bring in their own food donations for other members of the team to enjoy in return for a small donation to Julia’s House.

Jonny White, Micron’s Key Accounts Director said: “We have worked with Julia’s House since 2007. It is such a great cause who we are proud to support. As a team, we are always looking for new ways to fundraise.”

The food box fundraising scheme started in April, and the team are looking forward to seeing just how much money their food donations can raise.
