InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) are set to open a new dual branded Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites at Heathrow Airport.

Operated by Interstate Hotels UK, the combined 630-bed project is located on Bath Road close to the main entrance to Heathrow’s Terminals 1, 2 and 3 which help serve the airport’s 78 million air passengers annually.

Consulting on the project since August 2017, Micron has been appointed to install and manage the sites’ telecoms, IT, WiFi and data connections including ensuring complete resilience.

Opening in autumn 2018, the sites will deliver a first-class guest experience offering free wireless internet, seven meeting rooms, an onsite gym, and some suites will even be equipped with kitchens and LED TVs.

For staff, Micron’s solution will allow the hotel team to work dynamically across the very large and complex site.
