ISO update
Micron was accredited with ISO 9001:2015 standard back in 2019. This is an updating of the 2008 standard which we previously achieved in 2015. ISO serves as a widely recognised quality management system, giving reassurance to our clients that the organisation they are working with are structured, consistent and efficient. The standards are reviewed every 5 years and revised to reflect changes in the marketplace.
With our involvement in major hospitality projects, including new builds, it is often a prerequisite to be ISO 9001 certified. Working with some of the UK’s largest developers means we have to demonstrate consistency and efficiency and the ISO 9001:2015 certificate does exactly that.
Audited annually, as well as providing assurance to our customers, internally it means that we have systems which deliver a smoother operation, enabling consistent approaches to even the most complex projects.
Micron’s quality policy is available upon request.
With the success of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, this year we will be completing two new standards. ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 27001:2018 Information Security Management, demonstrating our commitment to proactively managing, reviewing, and protecting information and assets and the impact our operations have on the environment.
