South west based multi-franchise car dealership group, FJ Chalke & Vale Motors, manage a fleet of vehicles across four sites on the Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire boarder.

Micron have worked with the franchise for more than 10 years engineering WiFi, data and cloud solutions.

In 2017, we installed a state-of-the-art VPLS network, enabling all four sites to operate as one network. This centralised approach allows the staff to locate and manage files between offices, and with the internet activity across the organisation coming from one place, there is one gateway and firewall, helping keep the network secure and controlled.

More recently, to bring the company’s telecoms system in line with their advanced VPLS network, we installed a Mitel based, group communications platform. Similarly, incoming calls are now directed to a central location and passed out to other sites when required, simply and efficiently as if they were sat in the same office.

While improving the customer experience and office efficiencies, the Mitel telecoms system will future proof the group – so they can continue to deliver on their customer promise for years to come.
